Learning Objectives

- increase students’ knowledge about the characteristics of the different stages of life and their nutritional needs
- Learn notions of dietetics (in individuals and in the community) and of diet therapy evidence based
- Use the knowledge acquired to plan good strategies in each situation and reach the goals
- Develop personal attitudes for a good therapeutic relationship

The course aims to deepen the knowledge on the pathophysiological mechanisms of the main endocrine-metabolic diseases correlated to pregnancy and in some clinical conditions of adulthood and the role of diet in their prevention and treatment.
