- CHEST, ABDOMEN AND PELVIS RADIOLOGICAL ANATOMY : Maria Coronella
- TECNICHE DI DIAGNOSTICA PER IMMAGINI IV - Modulo APPARECCHIATURE E TECNICHE DELL'APPARATO DIGERENTE E URINARIO: Giuseppe Mazzone
- female anatomy: Marco Marzio Panella
Taught classes: 56 hours
Term / Semester: 2°
Learning Objectives
- Gastroenterology
The student will have to learn the main pathologies of the digestive tract, the liver, the bile ducts and the pancreas.
- The learning of the digestive tract, liver, bile ducts and pancreas pathologies should include:
- knowledge of the basic elements of pathophysiology, etiology, pathogenesis, symptomatology and, above all, imaging diagnostics;
- reasoned knowledge of rationality, economy and risk factors of the various diagnostic options practicable for each single digestive disease.
- CHEST, ABDOMEN AND PELVIS RADIOLOGICAL ANATOMY
Student should be able to recognize and identify main anatomical features of chest, abdomen (gastro-intestinal system) and uro-genital systems
- TECNICHE DI DIAGNOSTICA PER IMMAGINI IV - Modulo APPARECCHIATURE E TECNICHE DELL'APPARATO DIGERENTE E URINARIO
The aims of the course are: to give students an overview and most complete path of learning for the second year, in relation to these matters, to promote the learning of a responsible and appropriate terminology in radiology, about operating procedures, use of equipment and auxiliaries, in association with radiographic projections and positioning of the patient, directly involve the students, any critical analysis of learning based on the implementation timetable, introduction and behaviors within the TSRM Radiology Services.

Detailed Course Content
- Gastroenterology
The Gastroenterology Course will provide the student with an up-to-date, analytical and rational synthesis of the major digestive, liver, biliary and pancreas diseases related to their etiology, pathogenesis, symptomatology and diagnosis (predominantly for imaging). The course also aims to initiate a process of critical maturation of the knowledge of diagnostic options applicable in gastrointestinal diseases. Theoretical knowledge should also be supported by the vision of explanatory iconographic material, typically slides, on Diagnostic Algorithms, Rx images, TC, RM, Ecotomographies and Diagnostic Examinations with Digestive Endoscopy.
