Academic Year 2018/2019 - 1° Year
Teaching Staff Credit Value: 7
Taught classes: 49 hours
Term / Semester:

Learning Objectives

  • ELECTRONIC AND INFORMATIC BIOENGINEERING

Provide the student with the tools to deepen the techniques and methods of detection in Diagnostic Imaging in radiodiagnostics, nuclear medicine and radiotherapy fields.

  • Information processing systems: image formation

The course aims to make the student familiar with the formation process of analog and digital images, in order to provide the tools for evaluating the goodness of an imaging system, the requirements necessary for achieving a certain image quality degree and the main approaches for image enhancement and noise/artifact removal.
