Learning Objectives

  • Bioengineering

The student will be introduced to the main approaches and methodologies used within bioengineering. Some mathematical and computational models for the analysis of biological systems will be introduced. The student will learn some mathematical and computational tools for the treatment of these models.

  • Information Processing System: Image Formation

Knowledge of the general principles underlying the Information Processing Systems.

Knowledge of the general principles of Computer Networks and IT Security.

Knowledge of the general principles of Image Systems on the basis of training and transformation models.

  • Production, Processing, Management, and Archiving of Images

To know the techniques and principles underlying production, processing, and management of bioimages.

To examine and evaluate the production of body images according to the different techniques of medical radiology.

To acquire knowledge on the management and archiving of bioimages.
