Environmental issue and law. Origin and properties of organic and inorganic pollutants. Environmental contamination scenarios. Interaction between contaminants and solid and gaseous environmental matrices. Characterization methods and techniques for contaminated sites. Remediation of contaminated sites. Risk assessment.
