FISICA TECNICA INDUSTRIALE E AMBIENTALE
Module FISICA TECNICA INDUSTRIALE

Academic Year 2024/2025 - Teacher: Alberto FICHERA

Expected Learning Outcomes

The course aims to provide students with the basic tools for understanding and monitoring the operation of the main types of plants providing the ventilation of confined spaces to meet the standards required by Indoor Air Quality, achieved through a correct distribution of outdoor renewal air aimed at diluting indoor contaminants of anthropic and non-anthropic origin,

The course also discusses the problems of ventilation and air conditioning systems connected to maintaining the healthiness of the air in confined environments; To this end, techniques and methodologies will be studied to ensure:

- air filtration, at different levels of filtration depending on the potential risks associated with the transmission of fine dust and pathogens;

- the sanitization of air channels, heat exchange coils and other system components, aimed at preventing the risks of legionellosis and of proliferation of other pathogens.
