Learning Objectives

  • Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

    The aims of this course is to illustrate the diseases (degenerative, autoimmune and traumatic) of the nervous system. The principal goal is to illustrate the principles of functional rehabilitation and the enhancement of residual abilities.

  • Psychology

    The module aims to provide students with the theoretical and methodological bases of General Psychology, from the bases of Psychology as a science, to the study and measurement of cognitive processes and human behavior.

    The course will take place with weekly lectures, at the end of which an assessment test is scheduled for attending students.


Detailed Course Content

  • Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

    Degenerative and traumatic diseases of the CNS and rehabilitation; pathologies of the SNP and rehabilitation; functional assessment scales; utilities of the neurophysiological technique in rehabilitation; self-rehabilitation of spastic paresis.
